Kokosing Materials, Inc. is a combination of permanent and portable asphalt plants along with two liquid asphalt terminals throughout the state of Ohio with our headquarters in Fredericktown, Ohio. 

 Safety is always a priority at Kokosing Materials, Inc. Our employees spend their first day on the job in safety training with a trained safety officer by their side and the training never ends. Monday morning safety talks are required to be taken by all employees and off season training at corporate training facilities is mandatory. Employees are eligible to participate in safety rewards programs that provide visible recognition for their efforts.

KMI has been in the asphalt production business for over twenty years. The company, founded in 1980 by its parent corporation, Kokosing Construction Company, Inc., began with the purchase of one asphalt plant located in Fredericktown. Through the gradual acquisition of existing asphalt companies and the purchase of additional plants, Kokosing Materials, Inc. has expanded and today operates twelve asphalt plants and two liquid asphalt terminals.

 Kokosing Materials, Inc. has a fulltime staff of quality control technicians that design and test asphalt mixes used in our production operations. They constantly monitor product to insure compliance with Ohio Department of Transportation specifications. Their expertise also allows development of innovative new mix designs which incorporate the latest in technology utilizing polymers and additives. KMI is proactive in providing this technology to private customers, state and local agencies through seminars and demonstrations.
